The USB interface I linked (above) will read both the high and low speed data areas. Toggle switch. There are some parameters that can only be read (and I'm guessing modified) in one specific area. When the Forscan software links with the car it starts listing the areas it finds, then ask for the switch to be toggled and finds the rest.
I have experience with one (1) interface -- and it works.
Need the Forscan software and "advanced" license. Both are free. The advanced license is a executable file that stores some stuff and lets Forscan know the license is in place. Just downloading it does nothing, ya gotta run it.
So far the $30 cost just to get DRLs has been well worth it.
