I was reading that the Expy's gained 40HP in '05. What all was done to get this gain? Is it a completely different engine? Can some of these modifications be done to an '03 or '04 model?

05 went to 3v instead of 2v(valves per cylinder)

your better of with the 2v. there are aftermarket options for them. you can also do Toms lightning supercharger upgrade. us clowns with the 3v can't

That's some good info. I haven't got an Expy yet; still shoppin. Looks like the '03 and '04 are the only ones being sold in my price range and it made disappointed to find out that the newer ones had that much more power.
