i would like to know this too. i had to change my e brake pads. they fell apart when i took the disc off. and now if im moving and step on the e brake nothing! thats not very safe since a lot of time im parked on a hill. i park about half an inch from the curb and turn the wheels just in case but this still worrys me. it dose hold a little bit but not enough to where if i dont forget to pull it it wont do anything.

When you take off the rear disc brake, there should be an adjuster screw (I think near the bottom).

I actually need to tighten mine as my parking brake is pretty much useless.
