AdvanceTrac on 2003 question!

AdvanceTrac is useless for me.....I tow a trailer and THE BOOK says to disable the AdvanceTrac (hold the button on the console at least 5 seconds) while towing.

This is a real pain--holding the button. Have any of you permanently disabled this option?

I don't mean to be flippant, but holding the button down for five seconds when you start the vehicle is a real pain? It doesn't sound that difficult. I have to be honest however. I have never disabled mine. Do you do it each time you start the vehicle, or does it remember that it was switched off?

If it ever rains where you are the AdvanceTrac feature is awesome. I wouldn't even consider disabling mine. I don't know if Tucson gets much rain. I've never been there.

Yes, every time I start the vehicle I must hold the button. No it is not much of a chore but sometimes I forget and I swear the thing is going to wear my brakes out prematurely.
