After starting truck a/c takes a few moments to start blowing

After starting my expy it takes a min for the a/c to start blowing it does almost every time I get in the truck. And help pointing me in a direction would be helpful.

ok what year model etc. is the expy? the more info you can provide the better answers you will get. is it manual or auto control

Mine on auto takes a few seconds too. I think it wants the evaporator cold before pushing air through it. It doesn't get cold instantly. Don't know if there is a sensor to make sure its cold or it just waits a little bit.
