My wife came home Saturday from shopping with both rear air springs completely flat. What would cause the rear to go flat and not the front? Will I have to take it to the dealership to find out which part I need to replace, or is there information somewhere on how to diagnose the system without a STAR tester?

Look by the brake master cylinder, the rear suspension air line runs next to it, their will be a black coupler for the air line. More then likely it cracked. The only place to pick one up is the dealer, it’s $22 bucks or so.

The compressor was bad, not sure what else could have been wrong to cause it to fail. Because of the age of the truck and the future repairs that would be needed to keep the air ride going and the fact I tow a trailer on month long trips I decided to change over to coil springs. It tows great now and I will never have to worry about air leaks on my vacations.
Thanks,
Jeff
