2008 EL Limited here.
Tire shop caused passenger side rear bag to pull from the top band, so I replaced the bag (not entire inner coil) about a month and a half ago.
It rode fine, a little lower-- which was strange...
Till it started leaking air during a family outing last week (Same side) and now is bottomed out again.
Pretty sure it's the last o-ring at the top of the spring/bag system. The replacement bag didn't come with the right size rubber rings, so I re-used one (had to install twice cause it wasn't obvious where it went).
Dealer says the kit of o-rings is obsolete.
Anyone have experience with this? I'd like to keep the air suspension, tow leveling & all, but don't want the liability of it going out on a trip.

Also, it would be great to find a diagram, detailed instructions, video, etc for the bag replacement, if anyone has a lead on that.

Talk to Ramon at (323) 754-0308 @R&J Air Suspension in Los Angeles. He is not far from the 110 or the 405 and has many many parts but is by far the most knowledgeable about Air Suspensions as anyone I have come across.

Feel free to review my recent post on this topic as it might have some info you could use.

I'm really interested in the size and shape of the top o-ring(s?) as well. I almost think it might not be an o-ring, since the seat is angled / chamferred on the top and bottom of the strut cap. I ended up winging it and used 2 o-rings (one on top and bottom) out of a assortment I bought at AutoZone with some o-ring grease. It still leaks a little bit out the top nut and bottom of the air spring and drops some overnight, but doesn't bottom out. It does well enough to drive it for now. I'm probably going to do an air spring to standard spring swap.

Anybody have a good source for replacement air spring kits w ALL the o-rings for a 2011 Navigator? I tried the Unity brand air springs and they were wrong, garbage quality and all the o-rings were wrong.

You can check McMaster.com they have a ton of stuff. you will need to know the size and material, but its air so doesn't need to be anything special.
