With air suspension the Expedition raises to max height when you shift into 4 wheel drive low. Its like a built in lift kit. It raises about 1-1/2" to 2"

I'd like to install a switch so that I can raise it to max height without actually switching into 4 wheel drive low. It might be nice to have an instant lift kit when I want it.

Is there a way to trick the air suspension into thinking its in 4WDL so that it raises to its maximum height?

Andy, I think you can just turn it off when @ max height & think it will stay there.
When my air union coupler burst several years ago, i was able to hold it back together long enough to air back up, then I had the second set of hands turn the suspension system off and it stayed up for over a week until I was able to effect repairs....i will caveat that it wasn't as high as in Reverse or 4LO, but never moved.

Okay that's something I can try. I think I must have an air leak because every time I start it up the compressor runs for 30-40 seconds but it has been so cold that it just may be the seals are cold so I'm not going to look for problems until it warms up.

My Navigator has to level out every time I start the truck this winter. Its still pretty new to me so I too am going to wait for the summer. If the truck sits for 3 or 4 days its sitting on the ground. Id like to trick the height sensors so it stayed a bit lower at ride height.
