Hi all,

Last Friday, I ran my '99 through a car wash with under chasis flush. On Friday after noon, leaving work, the air suspension came on as usual, but now the truck Rides high, and iget the chck susp light. It is like the sensor may have gotten wet, and now goest too high in air? The truck will come down after awhile of sitting, but wants to jack it up higher than normal once i start it back up... any ideas.?

Definitely take a peek at the hieight sensor to see if it has loosened-up. Just crawl under there and take a look.

Water shouldn't affect it at all.
But the under-chassis flush may splash up and get the top of your engine wet, which is not what you want to do.

The rear is located in the rear axle, it has a rubber boot attached to it. Not sure on the front but i dont think there is one for the front. My expy (same year as yours but 2 wheel drive) has shocks and springs in the front. Maybe the 4X4 is different is thats what you have.

Thanks, I found them both, both were attached and seem fine. I took them off, put back on. The light is intermitant, and it does seem to drop a little, but then sometimes it jacks it back up. I tried removing the neg. battery cable in an effort to reset, but it did not seem to help. It isn't affecting ride, or anything tramatic, it just is higher than it has been. I am thinking I am going to convert to traditional shocks/springs and get rid of the stupid air crap.
