air suspension?

how can you tell if your expedition has the air suspension/load leveling system? I have an 06 XLT sport 4x4.

If u get under the back of the truck u should look on top of the axle and u should see a smooth black airbag where the coil spring should be... If u see a spring u have no air suspension..... Also there should be a switch which on mine is on the pass kick panel to turn it off..... Min e is a 99 tho so idk where ur switch would be......

Other then looking for rear shocks, i would imagine you could determine by the presence of an air compressor under the hood, pass side wheel well? You may also be able to detect by hearing it kick in and the ride adjusting during start up?
