We have a '20 Expedition. The alarm went off on it a little bit ago- we're talking 11:00 at night. Is it possible that a dog, skunk, etc set it off?

I bet it was your internal alarm...probably sensed movement inside. A fly, a water bottle shrinking or expanding, a shadow from outside; the darn thing is pretty sensitive.

Thanks for y'alls replies! My first thought of course was a burglar, but I got to thinking that I hadn't locked it yet for the night. So then I was completely baffled. The internal alarm shouldn't have gone off then either, right? I'm wondering if it was just a glitch in the system... or what do y'all think?

I just had my alarm go off at 1 am and 3 am last night. I’m pretty sure it was a bug. On the plus side, I found out that one of my neighbors goes outside when he hears a car alarm also. I’m going to leave it set to perimeter only for a couple of days.

Could you have sat on or pressed against the key fob and activated the panic alarm?
