On Alpine's site it says it's compatible with 2005+ Alpine decks. It's 45w rms x 4 that simply plugs in between the harness and the head unit itself.
This should solve some problems of full range speaker amp location. I spoke with the Alpine rep at my local shop last week and he said this little unit is very impressive.
