alpine subwoofer?

I pulled my stock subwoofer out to replace it with an aftermarket and I noticed it's an alpine.. my truck is a 2003 EB. Did alpine come in it stock?

looks a little blurry in the pic on my mobile. if this is the same with others, it will clear up if you click on it and show serial and mobile etc

Its OEM. Alpine made speakers & audio components for Ford for many years.

On the backside of the speaker, you'll see "M5XUG" printed. Thats a Ford code for speaker. So anytime you see a Clarion, JBL, Sony, Apline, etc branded speaker with this code on it, you'll know it was built for Ford/Linc/Merc.

Not the finest of Alpines components there, I'd replace it.

u can put any 8" sub in there so u don't have to replace it with alpine...honestly...u may get better sound with an aftermarket sub...nothing drastic but noticeable
