I recently painted my 2000 Ford Expedition XLT and it looks great but my aluminum rims are looking a little shabby any suggestions to get them to look better?

Looks good. May I ask what you paid to have it painted and where it was done? I have a Burgundy 2001 needing a repaint as it is rusting at the roof.

My wheels are shabby and I was quoted a pretty penny locally to have them refurbed. In the end I bought a refurbished set from e-bay for $532. They look great, but one has a suspicious repair on the inboard bead wall so I am going to send it back for exchange.

$2550 is what it cost me I only get 10.3 MPG but I don't have a vehicle payment so this is the first year I'm putting money into it.

The roof was leaking that's what started me on this renovation of this ride.

I found my radiator support is rusted badly. I would want to replace that before investing in a repaint. I need to crawl under and see if any other body rust exists. It is a florida car, spent most of its time away from coastal areas, but a lot of humidity. I would like to get five more years out of it. The new models don't thrill me. Too much electronics.

I know that near my there is a Alloy Wheel repair store. They basically refurbish your alum wheels. Give them an acid bath to remove crud. Sand smooth the road rash, then powerer coat the wheels and get them looking brand new. I was quoted $700 for a set of 4. Your mileage may vary.
