am radio reception problem

I have a 2005 eb with in dash 6 disc changer and rear dvd. I have good fm radio reception but no am stations will come in at all any help would be greatly appreciated.

Funny bc on mine I have problem with some FM stations. Is your antenna in the rear window? Mine is and it has a dark layer of tint over it so Im wondering if this is casuing it.

I feel your pain. I get am stations but somewhere theres a problem because I get whine from feedback. My cd changer doesn't work any more so when I replace the radio, I will fix wiring issue.

from my knowledge...tint may cause interruption..your blacked out on the rear right???? maybe...

Yup it has limo on top of factory, but its carbon tint which shouldnt interfere.

Yeah tint can effect the radio, as for AM problems it's usually a ground problem.

im not old enuff to listen to am but mine does have trouble getting fm reception when driving thru wooded areas & steep hills

My 03 EB has the same issue. No AM so no sports radio. It just stoped ejecting the CDs three days ago so I pulled it and removed the disks, reinstalled and now just run the radio. I have a Pioneer but just dont feel like installing it right now. Cant decide if I should just throw out the steering wheel control and the rear seat controls. Plus I need to track down a wiring diagram for the sub-out wireing for the HU. Fun times.

there are levels to freqs...some can only go up in altitude but so high...reason why you cant make calls while flying
