Android Google Maps

Is it possible to get the Google Maps from my Android phone to show on the main navigation screen?

We have a bunch of stops at parks and such saved for the kids to get out and play on an upcoming trip... Would be nice to have that on the main screen, and I was told by someone that it is possible, but maybe iPhone only?

Have you installed Android Auto? You must use a USB to connect, then yes, the map will appear on the main screen.

And, with my Galaxy S8, I had to use a USB-C cable and not a micro-USB cable with USB-C adapter...

I have installed Android Auto, and did have my phone plugged into the USB by the wireless charging port. I still don't think it transferred the phone guidance up on the main screen again, but I guess I'll have to play around with it some more.

You have to tap on Android Auto icon on the main screen to start
