Looks like a start.
Still running Android 6 and only has 2gb RAM and 16gb storage which leads me to believe it only has a dual core processor, possibly quad core.
Says Sync3 only but in the description it says for Nav screen and no Nav Screen models.
I did not think the non nav screen was Sync3

Just watched the video
Granted the video is for a Mustang but it appears that this is not a replacement unit but an add on/piggyback system that essentially side loads some Android features to the Sync system via USB.
So I am guessing you get a android box that you plug into Syncs USB and some sort of power source.
Interesting concept and easier than having to fool with all the HVAC controls as well.
Not helpful to me as I don’t have the Sync3 touchscreen unit but still a pretty neat idea.
Still hoping for a Tesla style Android system for our rigs.

yes its a harness that plug into the back of the head unit. you unplug the head unit. plug that into the harness and then plug the harness back into the head unit. has video in and vid out connections and 2 usb connections you can rout anywhere to plug in you Medea. you tube and playstore . yes only 4 core but Im hopeful that a octa core will be out soon and that will be buttery...great idea. still a smallish screen. yes I contacted phoenix a company who makes the tesla style ones for f150 and they said one is in the works.. maybe by the end of the year.

I have contacted Phoenix, Linkswell, and a couple others as well.
All have stated they loose rear HVAC controls and don’t have much interest so resources are put to other models.
