Greetings! We owned a Gen 1 Expy years ago, when the kids were much younger, and we just came full circle. Two days ago I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2016 EL XLT. I do car for hire corporate transportation and winery tours, and this vehicle should be perfect. My only concern is towing - we have a 30' 7,000 lb. travel trailer that we use, and I sold my diesel truck when getting the Expy. I know the Expy won't tow like the diesel, but I just hope I don't regret the sale of the truck.

Hi there Bedrck47. The max gross weight for the trailer is 7000 lbs.

You appear to be within specs for the expy And as you already know it won't be as good as the diesel it should do the job.
