Pricing in GB pounds makes me think this won't work in North American trucks. For US$650 plus shipping and installation I'd expect something that works on real iPhones, not Androids.

It is a complete Android System not just a way to connect your phone. Your phone is longer needed but your iPhone will still connect via Bluetooth for calls and music if you wish.

Looking through it. Essentially you are installing an Android device to the screen with a pass through for the Sync 3 functions. Which is why it costs around the same price as a phone. This makes the Sync 3 into an Android tablet. I am not sure what it uses for connectivity, but only watched the first part of the install video.
