Has anyone had experience with 17” wheels? I see the XLT with the off-road package comes with 17s from the factory, so I assume no issues? Any downsides?

Thanks!!

Ahh you are right . To my eyes, they looked like 17s in the pictures, but maybe it is the dark color/design. They are 18s on the FX4 package. I stand corrected.

Has anyone tried 17s?

Sounds like it requires some modifications then. Had hoped it would just be a simple swap.

Not really. You have to get a little creative if you want to run the stock center caps with THOSE specific wheels (and I would imagine most other f150 17's) but the wheels themselves fit without issue.

So you were unable to run hub centric spacers because of the wheels or you chose to not use them?

I have a set of gen1 Raptor wheels I plan to test fit when my truck gets here. But unfortunately that won't be for 5 weeks or so...

There is no reason you couldn't run hubcentric spacers. I only needed 5mm, which are generally not available in hubcentric versions. That being said I have had no issues with the spacers I did use.

Those are the beadlock ready wheels. They are a little harder to come by. I also favor those.

Are you happy about the ride quality with the 17s? I'm looking to downsize from 20s.
