I had a factory APIM in 2019 Expy that was on Sync 3.4 build 22251 that was stuck in a memory loop. I was getting notices on every start up looking for internet preferences etc. Things with the APIM got progressively worse (screen going black, camera issues, parking sensor issues). I could not hard reset nor did it have enough memory to upgrade to a newer build using Cyan labs. I bought an APIM on Ebay with a newer build number. Install was straight forward and seemed to fix my issue. However now the volume control on my steering no longer functions. I bought an adapter to use Forscan, but was unsure on how it would help me solve my problem. So I thought I would turn to you guys to see if you could point me in the right direction.
