Hi, OEM pricing for my broken LED tail light was over $2000. I know in most cases you get what you pay for, but for under 200 bucks I figured I would take a gamble on an aftermarket set from Amazon.
Called the parts dept at the dealer I bought the car from, and not only would they not discount them at all, but they also said it had to be dealer installed because programming was required (sounded like BS to me).
In any case, it was a super easy plug-and-play replacement with no reprogramming or error codes. So far, four months after install, they are working perfectly fine. They look identical unless you are peeking inside and looking for subtle differences.
