Apple CarPlay is glitchy?

So I use it a lot, especially for Waze and each time I unplug it and replug it always reverts back to AM from my Sirus stations, any way to fix this?

If my CarPlay doesn't activate, it goes to my FM1 setting last used. I usually unplug and replug in my phone and it works again. I'm on beta iOS so I was not sure if that had anything to do with my "issue" which has only happened about 5-6 times in the 6 weeks or so that I have had the car.

I've never had it go to AM. I don't use Sirius so I can't speak to that.

Probably not helpful, just my experience.

I have found using a real Apple brand cable helps cut down on the glitches and frozen screens. Not sure why or if it’s a placebo, but every aftermarket cable seems to cause me problems on the last four Sync vehicles I have owned.

Anker has been my go to third party Apple cable company with success. More expensive than some third party ones, but still less expensive than the OEM Apple ones.

i use oem apple lightning, still the same issue

As soon as I plug it in while heat is on, I noticed the fan speed increases - although the setting remains the same (one bar remains one bar but air comes out stronger)

Also one time noticed the car jerking for a split second as soon as it was plugged in
