I want to do some aux lights on my truck and I was wanting to see some of you guy's setups that you have on your own truck to help me out.
Where you mounted the lights
what kind of lights.
How you ran the wire.
Where your switch(es) are located.
What relays you used.

Ant bit of info helps guys.
Thanks in advance

I have 2 Hella Black Magics on the front of my truck. I used a simple 20 amp relay to power the lights. I ran the wire through the grommet in the firewall that is next to the steering column. You can punch a hole in that and run the wire through that.

As for where I mounted the switch, I mounted the switch to the left of the steering column (next to my e-fan status lights). I used a lighted switch for the lights. The lights are powered from the fuse box under the hood. Granted, I did the power the hard way by adding a circuit into the factory fuse box. Unless you are wanting to do things the hard way, I would look at doing things another way. The only advantage is that it results in a very clean install

As for how I mounted the lights, I found a support in the bumper on each side (pretty much at the point where the vertical support is between the grille and the headlights) and drilled a hole there to mount the lights to.

If you need more information, let me know.
