bad cat?

My 98 Expo with 4.6 is hesitating when I'm driving. The idle feels fine, but when it is in gear it is sluggish. The plugs and wires are fine. I'm thinking the cat is clogged or something. The exhaust doesn't seem to be blowing alot when revved. Any ideas? Oh yeah, there is 150,000 on the clock.

If your cat is clogged it will get red hot after a short drive. Take a highway trip for 5 miles or so in the dark and then immediately look at the cat to see if it is glowing. Usually the cat goes bad from too rich of a mixture for an extended period.
