I just recently had some work done on my 06 expedition and now is throwing a code for the cat on passenger side can I get a new one welded on instead of having to replace all cats? Anyone done this? Any input is appreciated

Wait it out a couple months or so cause my 05 kept throwing p0420 code for a while then it just stopped throwing the code on it own, has been over two months and it still hasn't given me a CEL for it again. But yea I was gonna go the welded cat route too
