My 2007 Expedition has a battery display in message center. Alternator is outputting 14.8 volts. Starts and runs fine. Any ideas?

Any problems starting it? How old is the battery? While the alternator and charging system may be good, the battery itself could have some issues.

I have no issues in starting. Sounds strong and normal. I will get the battery tested. It is probably over two years old.

No. It just happened one morning as I pulled out to go to work. 30 miles each way, no problems except that light. I’m baffled.

Do a Voltage Drop Test on your battery cables and terminals. (Digital volt meter needed)
Check all grounds to make sure they are secure.

Get the alternator checked when you get the battery tested.
