Is your Expedition 2WD or 4WD? If 4WD do you put in 4Auto in the winter? I run mine in 4Auto and its great in the snow.

My truck is 4x4, the night i had all the issues. I had in 4x4 high cause all the rear tires did was slip. The latest snow i tried the 4x4 auto setting and i like that alot. If totally dry out i tend to flip it back into to 2hi though.

You can run 4Auto in the dry. It engages the transfer case but the front axels only lock when the rears slip. I will put it in 4Auto when it's raining hard.

Ok, i thought so but still learning everything with this truck. Seems like everything is ok with the tires for the moment. Not a huge fan so i may not keep them long, but happy its not an emergency replace situation.
