best way to drain and fill coolant ?

Im about to drain and fill the coolant system, any one know how many drain and fill to get most old coolant off ? and what best way to get air pocket out the coolant system ? thanks

Best way to get air out of the system is to park the expy nose up Make sure the rad fill is higher than the engine

thanks, there is no crew on this expedition that let the air out right ? I look but I dint see it, just ask to be sure.

I know when you use antifreeze in your 2nd Gen Expy you have to use Antifreeze/Coolant Zerex - Engine Coolant/Anti-Freeze... right? the one that is yellow in color? that is what the owners manual has... well when you drain and fill do you have to use the coolant to drain out all the old coolant out? can I use water to remove the old coolant and fill it with the recommended one?

I'm changing this part out New Genuine Ford OEM Heater Hose 05-06 Expedition Navigator 5L1Z18472AC KH-711 and needed to know also if any one can tell me how many gallons I will need to drain and fill it?
