I was wondering if there are any options out there as far as sway bars and maybe a performance lowering kit/leveling kit.

I would love to eventually dig into the motor, but would like for the truck to handle a little better before then. Needing less body roll and maybe just a little lower stance out of it.

Any help/links to builds would be appreciated.

Victor is right for drop kits for 03-06...I Think there is a 3rd for 07-13's...ground force is the only 2" drop...eibach is 1.4 or 1.2" drop...I just got the ground force in...for sway bars u have eibach but they stopped making complete kits and I believe they only make the front...hellwig makes a kit for front and back anti-sway bars...I have the eibach and love it...handling is greatly improved and don't know why I waited so long...worth th money

So is a front or rear sway bar going to be best?

you need both...it decreases the body roll of the truck which in turn give you more precise handling and better control...my story is before the anti-sway bar upgrade i could take this 4 curve switch back with posted 35 mph speed no more than 40 mph...at 40 i can feel the truck leaning very hard...my wife complained everytime i took her to work cuz i wanted to know my limitations...after the upgrade i can easily go 50 mph through there and still feel in complete control...at 52 mph the back wanted to fish out...thats my story

I've been looking into sway bars, but I'm not sure I need them. Is this more of a 2nd gen thing? The reason I ask is I feel like mine handles pretty good. There's a couple of sections going to Az that are pretty twisty and if I'm not paying attention I'll end up around 80mph. The posted speed limit is 65mph if that helps.

this is a any truck thing...the factory anti-sway bars are nothing compared to aftermarket...this will be the 1st mod on future trucks/suvs i get and im looking for it for my wifes 2011 altima...its like comparing the size of your forearm to your thigh...your forearm is the factory kit...your thigh is the aftermarket and well worth the upgrade...you feel your handling is good...make it great with this upgrade and its easy to do...dont have to be a mechanic to do it...6 nuts up front...6 in the back...replace and put back on...if you want to upgrade every other aspect of the truck why not this...hadnling is most important...idiot jumps out in front of you or slams on brakes and you need to swerve...you can do it with confidence...this will be my 1st mod forever on my suvs in the future regardless of make/model...wife wants an escalade...i want a nav...either way this is 1st on the list

The mechanic aspect of it doesn't worry me. And I'm not really upgrading much on the truck. The yellow car in the garage takes most of my play money already.
