Hello everyone
I have 2010 Expedition with one-way factory remote start system working well but I see Bi-Directional has cool feature which is feedback is it possible to upgrade it with Bi-Directional remote start system by replacing the the remote it-self or some parts or I have to buy complete kit. Any idea?
Thank you in advance

In 2010, both systems were aftermarket sold by Ford. They are very similar. You'd have to acquire the proper bi-directional product and install it. Almost as much work as putting it in from scratch. There are a few similar connectors that might match up but also some splicing. The PATS module would be the same, so you'd have that already installed. A bit of work and about $300 if you did it yourself. Also note that these systems don't come with installation instructions, so you have to scour the Web for them. It's also a bit of a search to identify the proper vehicle-specific part number system.

You might be better off getting a 2 way aftermarket considering the money your going to spend. No only will you have way more features but also a better security system that will report to the fob.

Isn't that what a two way remote start is? You start up the engine and your key fob reports back letting you know when the if the engine has started or not?
