there are 3 grounding points on my expedition, I used the extentions that came with the kit and had ground issues, so took ginder to them and relocate the brackets, welding is much better contact than the cheezy self tapping screws the kit came with, also had to reweld 2 of the thread donuts that were messed up, really I know what I was doing.

really a body lift is not that hard.... if you get a performance accessories BL the directions tell you every little step... not really that difficult... words of advice.... only loosen one side then remove the other side.... if you remove all bolts you are gonna have a hell of a time lining the body back up

well gonna try to get to that this summer. might be going back to iowa for a few months recruiting....blue, i would love to SAS the truck but its pricey. i will probably do it someday, just not today! hahha
i wouldnt do a d44. if you doing a sas might as well get a ford d60. and besides the 9.75 is a d60 just another design that ford wanted. what ever. but you can do leafs and a d60 for under $1000 if you find a good axle that doesnt need new axles, diff, bearings. but then you still need to do the steering and cut away a lot of the center section for the ifs. its a lot of work. so labor is whats so pricey.
