Ok so I just bought a 2006 Expedition with 94k and absolutely love it. However, about 10 miles down the road from purchasing it I started to here a hissing sound coming from under the dash and determined it was the brake booster.

I took it back to the dealer and they agreed to fix it no questions asked, even though it was sold as-is.

They replaced the booster and also did the few other cosmetic things we had agreed upon on purchase. As soon as I picked it up I noticed the brakes didnt seem right. They are hard and seem to only go about 75% of the way down. Also when they are all the way down (as far as I can get them) they dont seem to provide complete and quick stopping.

The dealer has now said they think they may have got a bad booster and ordered another one. Does this seem logical or are they missing something.

They brakes were better before with the vacuum leak :(

I read an article somewhere, maybe on the Ford F150 forum that you could adjust the feel of the brakes by adjusting the nut that connects the brake pedal to the booster shaft. Do a search for spongy brakes, or brake booster on the F150 forum. It might be what you need to know.
