Broken moonroof

The other day I went to open the moon and it started clicking and snapped. The thing will not open now, luckily I was able to secure it so that it doesn't leak since the rains have started here in Oregon.

The part that broke is what can be found at the sunroof doctor website.

Is it at all possible to replace these parts without having to drop the headliner?

The headliner needs to be removed according to the service manual. Add some insulation up there since it will be down.
