Burned CDs on 6-disc changer

I remember reading awhile back about some people having problems playing burned CDs on the 6-disc changer.

I was having the same problem and then it occurred to me to try burning at a slower speed.

That did the trick.

I burned at 4x just to be safe. Has anyone tried burning at 8x or 16x?

I guess it also depends on the type of burner you have as well.

But slowing down the speed seems to do the trick, no more unplayable CDs in the changer anymore.

Thanks Keydo...I've had problems on my other cars with this. I'll try your recommendation and see if that solves it!

never had a problem with the burn speed...the only problem i had is the decals on some of the blank cds....some of them will get stuck in the unit when trying to eject them....major inconvience

I've never had this problem. The last CD I burnt was at 40x on a Memorex CD-R and it worked flawlessly.
