bushings

i wanna change out the squeaky bushings under the front of the truck.
any suggestions, pointers, lessons learned? where should i start?

you need to know what is squeaking is it the ball joints and steering linkage (very common) or is it the upper and lower control arm bushings??? what year is your expy? energy suspension makes poly control arm bushings. mine werent squeaking but the handleing difference was night and day difference. the ball joints and steering linkage squeak because they cant be greased. so they will need to be replaced or if there is no play in the joint you can try useing a grease needle to buy some time.. as for aftermarket suspension parts MOOG is my fav. good luck

how can u tell what's squeaking

you can get under the truck and have someone turn the wheel side to side and bounce the front end so you can pinpoint what is squeaking/ also most shops i know of will do a front end check for free
