Cabin Air Filter

I have a 1999. Where is the location of this filter. Parts store guy said that they started putting these in 1998. Its supposed to be under the glove box, I dont see it.

Sorry, its the EB 5.4L. I do see what looks like a place for one, but its sealed up. The Haynes manual does not show or say anything about one.

There is no cabin air filter. There is a place for it under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle but there is no filter. I know there is a listing for one but they never installed them at Ford!

He's right. If you wanted it you had to have it installed by the dealer. I had two done (1999 and 2000) then just gave up on it with my 2004.

I will check under the glovebox if its something I could do. I didnt notice the usual clips or locks to remove/access it
