Just purchased a 2016 Limited with 65K and the backup camera does nothing when going into reverse. The backup lights are working. Purchased a 1" thick Wiring Diagrams 2016 Expedition, Navigator manual and there is nothing referencing backup camera. Is there any way to check the camera without removing it?

This may not be what you want to hear, but here's what I did with another vehicle (not Ford, but the concepts will be similar):

Search for youtube videos that may give you tips on locating / repairing the problem.
Search on Amazon / Ebay for a replacement camera that works with the factory system. (Usually, you'll find multiple options that are inexpensive.)
Replace the camera assembly (usually w/ tailgate latch)

In my case, the replacement was around $30 and took ~ 30 minutes. I spent way more time hunting for solutions than it took to actually fix the problem.
Good luck!
