Hey all,

I am having trouble here. I don't know much about cars or fixing them, but I am trying my best to learn so I can replace the CV Axles on my own. I've never done anything like this.

What I am looking for is a diagram or picture of the frame, transmission, axles and so forth. Basically all the stuff under the engine. I need to orient myself and learn what is what in the drivetrain so I can better communicate the problems and find solutions to get my vehicle fixed.

My vehicle is the 2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer, 5.4 in 4WD.

If you have one or know where I can get one, please let me know.

Thank you.

I’ve been using www.alldatadiy.com for years, and I think it’s the best value for the price. It has only OEM service information, but in online format you can print out and take with you into the garage. It’s a bit hard to navigate it first, but they use a common system across all manufacturers.

This is the DIY version of what nearly every independent shop uses to complete their work. Highly recommended.
