Can I lower my suspension, just a little?

I know nothing about working on my truck but I wanted to post a question to see if this was a possibility.

I bought an older house, built in the 50's. The garage opening is not enough to fit my 2005 expedition in. Is there a (cheap & simple) way to lower my truck so I can fit it into the garage? I need maybe 3-4 inches

Its a 2 wheel drive and I don't want to put those low profile wheels on it.

Any help would be appreciated.

search for your year model expedition and lowering kit or springs on ebay and see what comes up.

3-4 inches forget it....even drop springs best case will get you 2-2.5 inches

What about taking off the roof rack?

Removing my roof rack was enough to fit into my garage.

I took off the roof rack... I still need more. Looks like I'll be parking it outside...

set of springs will get you down from 1.5-3" depending on the kit. Or think about side swing doors for the garage or both.
