ok thanks. Mine is 4x4. It has 2H, 4L, 4H, and 4AIf it has the brake controller and 7 pin connector it has HD Tow. For 2017 4x2 with HD Tow had 3.31 gears.

I wouldn’t be thinking the 2018’s with 10 speed are better than 2017. There are alot of issues with 10 speed. I tow 6300 with 2017 with 3:31 rear and it pulls with no issue at all. Trans temp 201-205. My only complaint is the electric power steering provides too much assist at highway speeds when towing. All good info. I'm trying to decide if I should buy this year or next. My budget is around $25-$30k. My 2003 is still running well with 157k. I drive it most days to work. Right now the 2017's are in budget. If I wait 6 months to a year the 2018's will come down. The 2018's look to have a slightly better engine specs and the 10-speed transmission. My trailer is a Keystone Springdale 270le. It's almost 33ft long. I would think the 10-speed transmission would do better towing. Sometimes my 5.4 is hunting for gears at expressway speeds.
