Can't shift into gear

I have a 2002 lincoln town car today on the high way doing about 60 my driver side lower ball joint snapped and tire messed up some of the wheel well. Looking closer I seen that some of the well rubes away and messed up some wires behind the wheel well. Don't know what they are for but now my car is stuck in park and can't shift.... Can any one help me been having a bad week with my car and gf car I was on my way from work to her house to replace her timing belt but I guess that's on hold now lol

Welcome to the site. You will need the wiring diagram to fix the wire problem if it destroyed the harness. Otherwise it could be as simple as matching the colors of the wires. Once that is repaired move on to the next problem if there is one.
