Car starts then shuts off

My wife decided to buy gas for her 99 durango and when she go to start it, it would start then cutoff. She panic and waited about 15min then the car started. She drove it home shut it off and started again with no problem. Again I started the car no problem and drove for about 40 min then I turned it off and the same problem happened. What can be the problem I'm sorry its my wife Durango and not my expo.

fuel pump assy prob going out...may have stop'd sending fuel is my guess by relay or something

Fuel pump Is about a year and half old.

still can be faulting...could be relays...switches...anything...get your alternator/battery tested to rule that out...

I did notice the radio flickering on and off while the car was. Also you would here a ticking noise when I would turn the car off then the dome light would turn on af
ter 5 sec.

the dome lights may be on timer delay...but if the radio is flickering youre looking at a power source...alt/battery...
