Anyone know the bilb size of cargo light behind 3rd row and on lift gate.
And how the cover comes off so I don't break tabs.
Thanks

All interior lights on the 4th Gen should already be LEDs, no bulbs to replace. If it's "burnt" out, then you'll need to get a replacement from Ford.

Either way, you need to remove the liftgate panel to access it.

Not totally true. Some lower 4th Gen models could have other types of bulbs.

Here is the replacement light from Ford. There are other lights available from 3rd party vendors that may be brighter.
Cargo Lamp - Ford (JL1Z-13776-C)
I did a search on replacement steps, but they were unclear and confusing. Some instructions showed 4th gen, but were actually for 3rd gen. One video showed the person using a screw driver on the left side and popping out the entire assembly, without having to remove anything else. But it was unclear what year Expedition.

Unless an XL maybe? Fleet trucks?

Previous truck was a 200A package, about as low-level base trim as you could get, and everything was LED except external lighting. Why I said that.

I just went out to look at mine. Also, from what I can tell from taking the access cover off by the latch, it does not look serviceable unless the panel is off. There are no indentations to work a flathead screwdriver or panel tool to release. I could have kept at it, but didn't want to bust it up.

I also looked up PN JL1Z13776C (https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-cargo-lamp-jl1z13776c) and this lamp is LED.

If it looks a bit like this it's LED.

That's about what it looks like. And a yellowish color too. You'd think led would be more pure white. I don't wanna take my panels off to get to it tho. But never know. Lol

Mine is pure white. I think some models may not have 100% led. Even my Platinum had tag and backup light that were halogen. I replaced them with super bright LED lights. The backup lights really light up the road when backing up and the tag lights light the whole area behind the vehicle, making it easier to back up at night, adding more light to the already super bright backup lights.

I only saw mine once I haven't been around it and it was during the day so maybe there not a yellowish. I hope. Lol. I'll check again once I'm back around it and it's night time.
I've changed my reverse lights to led and ordering some led tag lights.

The reverse and tag lights are game changers.
I went with these because they are super bright.
