Today I replaced my tag light bulbs on my Platinum. It was not fun as the old incandescent bulbs will not come out easily.
I tried wrapping them with tape and pulled with everything I had. I ended up having to break the bulbs and pick out the remailing glass with a tiny flathead screwdriver, while trying not to destroy the socket.
After an hour of fighting, I finally got the bulbs out and replaced them with LASFIT 194 LED Bulbs. I used them on my Gen4 Platinum and they are super bright.
These are the only incandescent bulbs on the vehicle. If you decide to replace them, be prepared to have a hard time getting the old ones out.
I had previously installed an LED light strip under my hood. It's super bright as well.

What's going on with the front of your truck? How'd you get the light bar on the top of the grille?

I originally put the link in the OP. You must have not read it all.
It is an LED light strip 71" long with 3m tape. I cleaned the surface at the front under the hood with alcohol, lined up the strip and stuck it down. I wired it to the fuse box, under the hood, with a fuse splitter. The light comes on when I start the vehicle, because I wanted it to be a daytime light as well. All the front lights are so bright it distorted the pic.

If I were here, you would know it !
Been there, done that, a long time ago, with the tag lights (and everywhere else too), however, on my '011, it was just simple matter of 2 screws to loosen & pull out the rubber socket holder, remove the old bulbs & insert the new LED ones, and wha lah, super bright tag light 'em ups, hahahaha :D

me too, but this was way different. The bulbs would not come out of the sockets. But in the end, as always, it was worth it. Thos were the only bulbs not LED on my Platinum.
