I’ve tried 3 different cables and both ports beside the wireless charger.

Nothing comes up on the screen. What am I missing?

Have you connected the phone to your vehicle via Bluetooth? I think you need to do this first. Also, there are settings for CarPlay in the vehicle sync settings.

Edit: Connecting via Bluetooth first might be only required on BMWs. My wife’s X5 works this way. But it’s wireless CarPlay.

Have you enabled CarPlay in the Sync settings? It’s on the second page along the top row...CarPlay Settings, I think.

Once your phone is plugged in, if you go to that screen you’ll see your phone listed there, click it and select “Enable”.

Got it working somewhat. Seems like there was a handshaking problem. Before it worked, there was no CarPlay “app” on sync 3.

I only had two pages of apps. Now my seats have pushed to a third page.

I’ve enabled the option to work while my phone screen is locked, but when I lock the screen, it disconnects.

I’ll fiddle more with it after work.
