Anyone replace theirs recently? Did you go universal or direct fit?

Can this be realistically done in a driveway on jack stands?

I got a replacement one from rockauto. Lasted 3 years then Started blowing parts of the cat back out again. But it’s 200 vs 800 for a factory one. So choice is yours. But Eather way I would get a complete replacement one. As for a driveway repair, might be tough.

Doing any exaust work at home depends on how set up your shop is. Spray the heck out of all nuts/ bolts way before you start. Don't force any removal of nuts/bolts. Then have at it!
