Center console light stays on

New 2021 Expedition XLT has a small light inside the center console storage compartment. Get in the car, light comes on. Get out of car, light stays on.

Can’t seem to find a switch to turn if off. After 10 minutes the Battery Saver function eventually turns it off but there’s got to be a way to turn it off. Like simply closing the console lid?

Ford support is no help. Anyone have insight as to how to turn that light off? No console buttons seem to have any effect. Thanks…

Experienced the same issue...... had me worried to. But it does shut off after 10 minutes, working as designed. Or just keep the door closed, that also turns the light off
