Chicken Wire Mesh Grill

I remember seeing a thread a while back where someone made a custom wire mesh grill out of some sort of chicken wire...or along those lines that they got at a hardware store. Anyone have any info or a link or pics?

I remember the thread you're talking about but I couldn't find anything but whatever you do don't use actual chicken wire unless your going for that backwoods hilljack look lol.

If you go to Home Depot I believe it's down the aisle with the fasteners and the steel and aluminum stock they have sheets of mesh and I'm pretty sure near the drywall supplies there is some also. I know a lot of people use gutter guard too which they also have at the Depot.

you want good stuff to use? this site has various styles of the mesh. install is pretty straight forward. you can use epoxy or even fiberglass. On my 300c show car i owned, i cut out all the slates, fiberglassed the grille to make it a deep dish grille then used the mesh to back it. looked great. its up to you how you want to do it.
