I'm getting a clunk - front drivers side -when I let up on the throttle. First started hearing it when driving in stop and go traffic. Had the ford dealership look at it, they couldn't get it to make the clunk. They figured bad ball joints and rear shocks made whatever clunk I heard. I still get it to clunk. Does anyone else had any ideas?

I've got the same truck as you, and when my ball joints went bad, they kind of clunked, but more of squeal sound. I'm not sure exactly what it would be, but if it is your ball joints, the sound will get louder and occur more often with time. I also just remembered that when I replaced all of my shocks, the bolts to my rear shocks were rusted and worn, I didn't replace them and they eventually made a clunk whenever I touched the brakes. It could be a possibility of your front shocks. you can check by grabbing the shock and see if it moves at all.
